 ORAIFITE WOMEN SCORE ADADIORAMMA HIGH, SAY THE TIME IS NOW FOR  A WOMAN TO REPRESENT EKWUSIGO STATE CONSTITUENCY


Today, at the Oraifite Civic Centre, the women from various parishes who gathered for the Women Wing, Oraifite Improvement Union August Meeting, can't wait for the commencement of the 2023 campaign, to begin canvassing support for Ada Dioramma 


As a guest, Hon. Lady Ndidi Mezue, the immediate past Commissioner for Women and Children Affair, had earlier arrived at the venue to give support to the women, as she has done since the commencement of the August meeting in Ekwusigo.


Lady Ijeoma Ezione, PG Women Wing, OIU, in her address, described Adadioramma as the face of Ekwusigo women, whose record as Commissioner, has continued to get her more accolades.


The PG, who mentioned the many support Adadioramma has rendered to the women of Oraifite, assured her that Oraifite women will campaign for her and there will be only one agenda, and that will be the agenda to deliver her.


Not at the venue to campaign, Lady Mezue pleaded with the women to be vigilant and ensure that their conscience are not bought over for a porridge of morsel . She reminded the women of Oraifite, that she is one with them and will continue to support any programme and project from them.

Adadioramma concluded her address by picking 12 elderly women, with the help of the OIU executive, and gifting them with high-target wrapper each. 


The OIC Women Wing unanimously agreed that it is time a woman take a shot at the State House Assembly, and Adadioramma possess all the attributes of a good leader.

 World Sight Day: Hon. Amaka Obi Advise Residents Of Idemili South On Eye Care. By Mma Okpala  The convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) who doubled as the Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40. Iyom Ife-Abata who earlier offered free medical outreach stated that loving one's eye involves the people obeying the dos and don'ts for good eyesight, including avoidance of smoking, herbal preparations due to adulteration of alcohol, diets and fruits.
