 ADADIORAMMA FOOTBALL TOURNEY KICKS OFF IN OZUBULU 

Today, at Eziora Central School Field, Eziora Ozubulu, the 2022 Adadioramma Football Tournament for Eziora Youth will kick off by 4pm today.

Passionate about engendering positive youth development in her community and Constituency, Hon. Lady Ndidi Mezue, Ada Dioramma , who is the sole sponsor of the tournament, has said the competition is part of  her continued commitment to promote sporting activities in Ekwusigo Constituency.

This tournament is designed to usher in the forthcoming Ozubulu new yam festival, which slated to hold on the 21st of September, 2022.

The  importance of sporting activities like this cannot be overemphasised to the development of the youths and the society in general. It allows the youths discover their hidden talents and potential for the development of the constituency, the state and the country at large.

Recall that Adadioramma, the immediate past Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, has severally in the past, sponsored a lot of sporting activities, cater for sporting teams, both male and female, at the local and national levels. 

Particularly in 2021, in conjunction with the former Super Falcons Captain, Maureen Mmadu, she sponsored a female football team of Anambra under 16 female FA Cup, which the team won. Interestingly, four of the players from the winning team are from Ekwusigo, courtesy of deepened connection with her people.

Government functionaries from the constituency, stakeholders and all sports lovers are expected to attend the kickoff and enjoy the best of grassroot football, from Ozubulu.

By Mma Okpala  The convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) who doubled as the Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40.
