The TC Chairman of Dunukofia LGA, Mr. Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum (Ancestor) has on Tuesday 26'9'23 called on the Dunukofia Local Government Workers to strengthen their efforts towards ensuring productive services via their various offices.

The Chairman made the call while receiving the newly appointed Acting Chairman, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees - NULGE, Dunukofia Chapter, Mr. Akponisi John Ugochukwu and his working executives.

Mr. Akponisi, the former elected Vice Chairman of NULGE Dunukofia who was recently appointed cum elevated into the Office of the Acting Chiarman led his executives on a courtesy visit to the Office of LG Chairman. According to the Acting Chairman, the NULGE Excos came for a familiarization section cum chats with the working LG Mayor on possible ways to improve the input and output services of the workers.



In his speech, Mr. Onyemaobi while congratulating the Acting NULGE Chairman charged the executives to ensure good and harmonious working relationship among the workers, stressing that being a leader is a task to ensure the welfare of the members.

The LG Chairman urged the NULGE excos to ensure proper coordination of the workers in order to give out best productive services for the betterment of the Local Government Council and improvement in the economy of the society. He further encouraged them to establish and maintain high standard of workmanship and professional practice.

Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40.
