 Anambra West Boss Ikechi Lauds State Government On Successful Rescucitation Of Anambra West Rural Electrification Project




The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West Local Governmemt Area, Mr. Felix Ikechi  has showered praises on Governor  Chukuwma Soludo administration's for the remarkable progress made in the rescucitation of  Anambra West rural electrification Project.


Mr. Ikechi made the recommendation while speaking with the press in the council area.


He noted that the transformative impact that access to electricity will have on the community will enhance the quality of life and increased economic opportunities of Ndi Anambra West.


The Council boss emphasized the significance of the electrification project, stating, that the initiative is a testament to the government's dedication to bridging the energy gap and ensuring that no community is left behind.


 "The provision of electricity in rural areas like Anambra West will undoubtedly uplift the living standards of our residents and pave the way for progress and development."


The electrification project, which was initiated by the present government, aims to connect remote areas of the council to the national grid.


 It involves the installation of power lines, transformers, and distribution networks to ensure a reliable and sustainable electricity supply.


The local council boss disclosed that the positive impact of the project on various sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture cannot be overemphasized and Commended Governor Soludo  for his administration's commitment towards improving the lives of ndi Anambra.


"With access to electricity, schools in Anambra West can now provide better learning environments with the use of computers, projectors, and other electronic devices". 


Additionally, healthcare facilities can operate more efficiently with the availability of medical equipment and uninterrupted power supply.

The agricultural sector is also expected to benefit from electrification, as farmers can now utilize modern irrigation systems and machinery to improve productivity". He added.


The Anambra West Mayor expressed his gratitude to the government for prioritizing Anambra West rural electrification and urged the residents to make the most of the opportunity to improve their lives and the overall development of the community.


He further encouraged them to embrace the benefits of electricity and explore new possibilities it brings, and noted that the initiative is aimed at providing electricity to the rural dwellers.
