The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon Amaka Obi Amaka Iyom has attended the town hall meeting of Awka-Etiti Improvement Union.
The town hall meeting proved effective as stakeholders, including the President General of Awka Etiti- Mr Adindu Adigwe, immediate and past president generals of Awka Etiti, Ndi Ichies, community women leaders, youths and the executives of women wings and other stakeholders were present at the meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon Amaka reaffirmed the commitment of Gov Soludo-led administration to ensuring that Anambra remains a strong, united state where the people will live, work and prosper in line with the Solution Mantra cum Agenda of a smart homeland.
While appreciating the people for giving her the opportunity to add her voice in the meeting, she commended the leadership of the Town Union for the meeting.
She further stated the Mr Governor has solid footprints of his administration in every part of the state- whether in education, road infrastructure, water, health, employments, gender inclusion and youth engagement, safety nets for the poor, and economic projects designed to grow the state.
She, however, assured the people that the community will not be left behind in benefiting from the dividends of democracy while calling on well meaning individuals and critical stakeholders of the community to support Gov Soludo led administration and also support the ongoing Skills Acquisition Training at the council headquarters, Ojoto.
