 Residents Of Idemili South Local Government Commend Governor Charles Soludo Over Road Construction.

The residents of Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State have commended the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo for embarking on road construction in the council area.

The commendation was made after Anambra State Executive Council(ANSEC) awarded the contract for the construction of Centre Nnokwa to Awka-Etiti road. The work which will be done by IIC Construction Company Limited is valued at One Billion, Six Hundred and Six Million, Eight Hundred and Eighty-Five Naira, One Kobo only(N1,606,837,285.01). The completion date is a period of 8 months from the date of award. 

While speaking on behalf of the people, the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Amaka Obi said the residents of Idemili South were overwhelmed with joy on Governor Charles Soludo's intervention on the road.

Iyom Ife-Abata stated that Governor Charles Soludo made the promise to construct the road when he flagged off free antenatal and free delivery services at Nnobi Health Center, and he has embarked in fulfilling his promise to the people of Idemili South.

Hon. Amaka Obi appreciated Charly Nwamgbafor for reducing the suffering of the people who had for several years, been passing through harrowing experience arising from inaccessible road. She added that Governor Soludo's administration has ensured continued enjoyment of democracy dividends by his people.

By Mma Okpala  The convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) who doubled as the Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40. Iyom Ife-Abata who earlier offered free medical outreach stated that loving one's eye involves the people obeying the dos and don'ts for good eyesight, including avoidance of smoking, herbal preparations due to adulteration of alcohol, diets and fruits.
