Traffic Rules: In Idemili South, Hon Amaka Obi charges Keke NAPEP rider's, bus driver's to obey Bus stop, traffic Rules

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon Amaka Obi Amaka Iyom has charged commercial drivers to always comply with traffic rules, regulation and use of bus stop cum terminal to ensure safety on roads.

Hon Amaka gave the charge while addressing the executives of commercial bus and keke drivers in the council area.

Council Boss, noted that over a time motorist find it difficult to access the Nnobi- Awka-Etiti- Ekwuobia and Nnewi - Nnobi - Agulu road due to traffic congestion and double parking caused the commercial bus and keke operators.



She stressed the need for them to obtain make use of the various designated bus stop and obey traffic Rules to ensure smooth flow of human and vehicular movement.


Some of the commercial bus driver's and commuter's commended the efforts of the government local Government chairman and promised to make use of bus stop and to be law abiding citizens.

 World Sight Day: Hon. Amaka Obi Advise Residents Of Idemili South On Eye Care. By Mma Okpala  The convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) who doubled as the Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40. Iyom Ife-Abata who earlier offered free medical outreach stated that loving one's eye involves the people obeying the dos and don'ts for good eyesight, including avoidance of smoking, herbal preparations due to adulteration of alcohol, diets and fruits.
