August Meeting: Hamilton Ezeonu's Wife Felicitates With Anambra Women, Urges Them To Be Role Models
By Emmy Young
The Wife of High Chief Hamilton Ezeonu, Dr Mrs Thelma Ezeonu, has called on women to be role models in their families and society at large.
Dr. Ezeonu in her message to Anambra women on the occasion of 2024 August Meeting, Mrs Ezeonu lauded women of Anambra State for being pillars of support to their respective families.
She urged them to live examplary life by devoting their time to the training of their children and wards in Godly manner as well as take care of their husbands.
She stressed that women by their creation are home makers, lamenting that many have abandoned their responsibilities of training their children and looking after their husbands to pursue material and other things which are less valuable.
Consequently, she said children have become wayward and therefore threat to the families and society at large.
In the same manner they have pushed their husbands out of their homes, compelling some of them to follow other women and become drunk.
She then urged women to use the opportunity of this year's August Meeting to discuss on how to develop their respective communities, saying it should not be a time for fashion parade and unnecessary and unhealthy competition among them.
Mrs Ezeonu, a Medical Doctor is the wife of High Chief Hamilton Ezeonu, a successful business mogul and philanthropist from Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
