 Philanthropist Empowers Anambra Youths,Women With Over 10 Million


A Philanthropist and the Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Hamthel Holding and HEX Consulting LLC, USA, High Chief Hamilton Ezeonu (Ikemba Nnobi), has made a significant impact on his Nnobi community in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State by empowering the youths and women with over ten million naira as seed capital 

The empowering ceremony took place at his residence in Nnobi, on Saturday.


Speaking during the event, Chief Ezeonu, said the gesture is in response to the recent hardship occasioned by fuel subsidy removal leading to growing economic challenges such as high cost of living, hyper inflation and business losses which affected many youths in the community. 


He noted that he has also completed a 1km road project which was commissioned by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and again empowered three best students in Public Schools in the community, the student's were rewarded for their excellent academic performance with a brand new H.P laptop each. 

While enumerating the importance of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in earlier child education, Chief Ezeonu noted that the use of computers and laptops will help the students attain new milestones in their academic endeavor.


He urged parents to invest more in computer training for their children. The beneficiaries in their unanimous appreciation, pray God to continue to bless and protect the benefactor, Chief Ezeonu

By Mma Okpala  The convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) who doubled as the Transition Committee Chairman Of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata) has advised people of Idemili South on eye care as they celebrates World Sight Day today.  Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi said that, people should love their eyes by avoiding poor diet, abuse of drugs, alcohol and ensure they have a yearly checkup from an eye medical doctor from the age of 40. Iyom Ife-Abata who earlier offered free medical outreach stated that loving one's eye involves the people obeying the dos and don'ts for good eyesight, including avoidance of smoking, herbal preparations due to adulteration of alcohol, diets and fruits.
