Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili) is executing another humanitarian project by drilling a borehole water for market women at Eke market, Awka-Etiti.  Recall that last week, council boss flagged off drilling of borehole water for market women at Eke Awka-Etiti, stating that every market need clean water which according to her, equally had a net effect on the quality of food items that would be sold to the consumers. Speaking during the Inspection, council boss said, water is the most important natural resource of life and therefore our existence as humans largely depend on the quality of water we consume.  Massive Clean up ongoing in Dunukofia LGA In line with the mandate of the Governor of Anambra Prof Chukwuma Soludo CFR to build a clean, green and prosperous state the Transition Committee Chairman of Dunukofia LGA Mr Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum has embarked on massive clean up of the council area. The clean up exercise which is tagged Dunu Waste Management, started work few weeks ago, with the cleaning of the Local Government headquarters and its environs, and has continued to advance the clean up through communities and villages in the council area. The team has cleared many litter points and waste dump sites in the council area, ensuring that the local government environment is clean and healthy in line with the solution government agenda of clean, green and prosperous Anambra State.

 Idemili South Council Boss, Hon. Amaka Obi Inspects Clearing And Cutting Of Overgrown Grasses. The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili) has inspected and ensured that overgrown grasses along Nnobi- Nkpor road to Idemili South boundary and Mmiri John, Ojoto were cut down to avoid different kinds of reptiles in the area. Council boss said, it is required that grasses and weeds should be keep shorter to help reduce the risk of fire during dry season, stating that tall grasses and weeds are the perfect environment for insects like mosquitoes to dwell and weeds are an excellent place for several different types of rodents.
